(Reuters) – U.S. President-elect Donald Trump said on Thursday he is appointing former PayPal (NASDAQ: ) chief operating officer David Sachs as his White House artificial intelligence and cryptography czar.
“He will work on the legal framework so that the crypto industry has the clarity it has been asking for and can thrive in the US,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
