Tui sets direct flights to Bargain Beach Destination, where it is sunny all year


Thy announced that it intends to restart direct flights from East Midlands Airport to a leading African beach destination.

The carrier offers flights to Sharm El Sheikh on Mondays and Thursdays from March 2026.

The direct route to Egypt From the East Midlands last offered in 2023, but will be brought back due to ‘strong demand for customers’.

Chris Logan, commercial director of the United Kingdom of Tui, said: ‘Due to a strong demand for clients, we are excited to reconnect the East Midlands with the beautiful Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh.

‘With hundreds of incredible hotels to choose from and a guaranteed sunshine, Sharm El Sheikh is the perfect destination for a summer vacation.

“We have very incredible all-inclusive offers with flexible flying options, and some of the best splash parks to entertain the kids.”

Sharm El Sheikh is one of Egypt’s most popular holiday destinations, known for its vast sandy beaches.

With 35 km from the Red Sea coastline, tourists will surely find a favorite beach along the coast.

The news then came up new flights from Southampton Airport to Palma in Mallorca.

The first of the flights of the business took off on May 27 with the service that would work through the summer until September.
