Ghost Season is coming to an end, and there’s no better way to cap it off than by attending Universal Studios Resort’s Halloween Horror nights.
The event sees Universal’s theme parks in Orlando, Hollywood, Japan, Beijingand Singapore transform into a deliciously scary experience and bring some of your favorite horror movies to life.
The one in Orlando consists of 10 terrifying haunted houses and five sinister scare zones, as well as a host of delicious Halloween treats, dazzling live entertainment and thrilling rides.
Each of the 10 haunted houses has a theme – including some based on very popular franchises such as the Insidious movies and the latest installment of the Ghostbusters series, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.
There is also a house dedicated to the Quiet Place movies, and between the eerie silence throughout and the terrible and massive stranger animatronics, it delivers a chilling experience that left DailyMail.com reporter Lillian Gissen extremely confused.

But probably the scariest of the houses is Insidious: Into the Further, which generated huge buzz when the event first launched at the end of August.
“Insidious: Into the Further is without a doubt the scariest house I’ve ever been in,” one person wrote on X, previously Twitterthen.

‘I’ve been coming to Halloween Horror Nights since 1995 and I’ve never been in a house that has pulled me to my core like this. Wow, that’s so well done.’
“I’ve never been more terrified in a house before,” someone else agrees. “I was sweating by the end with how much terror it filled me with.”
‘It’s a house that grabs at you and just won’t let go and it just won’t end,’ another user added. “Truly every step was exciting.”
Indeed, the house lived up to its reputation, with actors dressed as various gruesome characters from the franchise jumping out at you at almost every turn.
Guests were seen running out the exit at full speed, celebrating making it out in one piece and giggling at the sheer thrill of being scared to their core.
In addition to the houses inspired by horror classics, there are also some based on original stories, concepts and creatures.

Even when you’re not in one of the 10 exciting haunted houses, you’re surrounded by evil battles in the scare zones
One of the DailyMail.com reporter’s personal favorites was Major Sweets Candy Factory, a sick house designed to look like a candy factory taken over by gruesome monsters.
As you tour the facility, you see a variety of gruesome scenes such as workers being killed by slimy creatures and their insides being used to make the candy.
Other popular houses include Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines, which gave guests a front view of an epic battle between the Bride of Frankenstein and Dracula’s daughter, and Slaughter Sinema 2, which allowed attendees to step into the screens of ‘ a series of make-up and satirical horror movies.
Even when you’re not inside one of the 10 thrilling haunted houses, you’re surrounded by evil battles as there are five scare zones throughout the park – areas where the scare actors roam free to torment guests as they please.
If you do want to take a break from the scares, you can enjoy the classic rides like Revenge of the Mummy – The Ride and MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack.
