The UK government has planned important defense reforms at the cost of welfare programs, drawing public anger.
Under the slogan “Welfare Not Warfare”, protesters have come into effect in London, objecting to the British government’s plan to increase military expenses while cutting social support.
Like its European allies on Nato, the United Kingdom is under pressure to take responsibility for its own security in the light of the Russian invasion on Ukraine from the United States.
But the European public-most of them are facing the cost of living-only the British can object.
So can NATO allies build a strong defense force enough to deal with any threats from Russia without US support?
And how do European leaders tell public resentment?
