WhatsApp Add Ads to Status screen


After years of providing free services without any bell, WhatsApp will now begin to show ads in the popular chat app. To be clear, users will only see ads on the status screen: The app takes the Instagram stories.

Just as you see an ad after seeing a few stories on Instagram, you will see ads on WhatsApp after having shifted by some state updates.

The company said that its notice mechanism uses signs such as the country or the city of users, the language and the channels that follow, as well as data on the ads with which users interact.

Meta said he does not use personal identification data, such as telephone numbers, messages, calls and users’ groups to serve guided ads. If a user has added their WhatsApp account to the Meta Account Center, the company will use their account preferences to show ads.

The company said that it allows companies and users to promote their channels, the WhatsApp dissemination function in the Discovery section, and would allow the creators and select companies to collect users a subscription to unlock exclusive updates from the channels. The company said that these subscription payments will be provided by the application stores.

Meta said that more than 1.5 billion people use state and channels a day.
